Key wont turn ignition

Thanks for the tips. Maybe I should clarify a little. The key itself isn't stuck. I can insert/remove the key, but the ignition itself won't turn to the starter position or off. I stopped the engine by just stalling it, but the ignition is still stuck in the 'ON' position and won't turn off.
